See why I gave a book I couldn't even finish 5 stars...

I wasn't going to view this book, because I didn't finish it. I stopped at 80% and couldn't continue. But then I couldn't stop thinking about it...it's haunted me ever since I stopped reading it. Then I decided if a book could overtake my every thought and pull me in so deep as to cause me such anguish that I can't even turn the page from where I stopped...it deserves 5 stars. At the least. It's not the book that is lacking, it's me. I lack the courage to continue. Some day I might, but not right now while it still hurts so much.
Nicolas and Isaac are both great guys. Any girl would be lucky to have either one. Peyton cheats on them both. She's in love with Nicholas, but sleeps with her ex boyfriend, Isaac, while they're on a 'break'. Then for circumstantial reasons she marries Isaac but is still madly in love with Nicolas. So she ends up cheating on Isaac, while promising Nic that she will leave him...she just needs time, so she says. When another reason popped up that she couldn't leave Isaac to be with Nicolas I just couldn't take anymore. She just keeps hurting Nic, and she's hurting Isaac and he doesn't even know about it yet. I got to the point where I really don't care how it ends up. Regardless of what she chooses, everyone loses. Everyone hurts. Everyone's heart is broken. I just can't see my way to a happily ever after for anyone in this story, and the sad thing is that both men DESERVE one. But I'm so angry at Peyton for everything's she's done that I don't know how she could possible be that HEA for either one of them. Who knows? Maybe she isn't! I'm too much of a coward to continue reading to find out!

Hated these characters SOME SPOILERS!!!!

I feel somewhat bad writing a review on a book that involves cheating. I really don't like to read about it. I didn't know though that it was about cheating before I started reading. I have to say I have never hated a character as much as Peyton. I actually found her a bit mental with her behavior. I could not understand why she didn't just get a divorce. I could have maybe seen it, if she loved her husband also. Was it because of the money he had? And if it was I hate her all over again. I even actually started to hate Nicolas and his behavior. I thought it was horrible how he treated his girlfriend Lindsey. I have never seen a group of people telling each how much they love one another while treating each other horribly. I didn't find the love story tragic or beautiful. I guess they all appeared to me to be nothing but selfish cheaters. I will say the writing was great, and will read this author again for sure.

Who cares

I couldn't feel sorry for Peyton and Nicholas and by the end of the book I didn't care about them. I dislike cheating but when all parties cheat it does not bother me. Is there really a victim in that case? IMO no. They claim to love each other forever and use that to justify their cheating. However they again have a needless separation and it becomes apparent that they did not love each other enough. At that point I no longer care about them. That is what happened here.

Peyton and Nicholas were on a break when she got trashed and slept with Issac. Issac was previously her boyfriend but when he cheated on her, she broke up with him and started dating Nicholas. After she cheated with Issac her relationship with Nicholas crashed and she married Isaac. Her and Nicholas are separated for years and then their not. Then she cheats with Nicholas but who cares because it is extremely likely that Isaac was also cheating on her. Then she and Nicholas,who swore they would stay together forever because they loved each other apparently just didn't care enough and drifted apart. Another needless separation with both of them moving on until they finally put forth enough effort years later to be together again.
Despite the HEA ending I did not believe that the would be together forever. Something would happen and they would again break apart. However who really cares? Not me. The only thing I care about is that this is a KU book.......
