Wow Loved every word of this book

I read this book in less then a week I am a huge fan of TOWIE so this book was giving me the perfect insight to real "world" of essex. This book explained what goes down in essex the whole truth and I cant wait to read the next book by this fabulous author I would recommend this book to anyone that loves TOWIE and wants to get to know deeper of what is going on in the famous town I have grown to love Essex.

enjoyable lite mystery

I really enjoyed this book. I did not enjoy the first book as much , it was much too heavy and depressing. This one is really a character driven book (the mystery is just a small bit added on) This is really Quinn's book he takes Dave home to meet the family... and boy o boy what a family it is.They fight and bad mouth each other constantly and of couse Dave has never experienced any thing like it in his life! But you can always tell how much that family cares for it's members. He lived with his mother in a small house. A very quiet existence. Dave came out in college whereas Quinn always knew he was gay and his family always knew and accepted him. I really loved Dave and Quinns relationship,and the sex was very well done! Great value for the money 2307 locations..highly recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed this Quinn and Dave mystery. The reason I bought it was because I had enjoyed "Garnetville" so much (another in this series). I love the Quinn and Dave relationship. They talk very sharply to each other almost continuously but still obviously love each other and show it passionately. I much prefer this type of relationship to one in which the guys always talk in a lovey-day way. Life is simply not like that. The crime Q & D solve is a complex one and the reader is left guessing who the murderer might be until the very end. I am eagerly awaiting Mispiel's next book in this series later this year! I will definitely read all Quinn and Dave mysteries I can possibly acquire.

Skip's book is ideal for beginners

One has to assume that to buy a 'Beginner's Guide' automatically places that person on the remainder of the world that does not know about Screenwriting. Indeed, I knew next to nothing about screenwriting but wanted to know more.
Skip doesn't pull any punches about the industry. There are lessons hard learnt for those who would like to try and bend other people's rules for submissions. And there are plenty of other tips about screenwriting which seem contrary to the ways and workings of this modern digital world -- that is, in the eyes of the non-screenwriter.
Other pointers mentioned within are there to help us write i) a script and ii) a good script. Tools, contacts, online resources and plenty of references to movies and their plot styles add to the depth of the introductory information that needs to be assimilated in order to get an overview of screenwriting.
There is no doubt that a book will not turn a person into a screenwriter as it is the person's own drive, ambition and writing skill that makes for success. Those who want to learn about the screenwriting trade would do well to order and read this book whether it is for writing or just for education.
Yeah! I've got a story in the works, and yeah, I'm a lazy type with a short attention span and shorter memory. What counts for me is that when I get off my hands and start writing as if my life depends on it I've got the book right here that'll take me from beginning to end.
This one is worth the bucks. It certainly inspired me to look at getting some ideas on paper. That is where all these movies and TV programs come from, after all. As for being a complete idiot, well, I've certainly qualified for that role a few times before.

A good place to start?

If you decided that you wanted to be a screenwriter, but didn't know the first thing about it, this book could be a good place to start your inquiry. Skip begins with some basics about story structure, then moves on to specifics about screenplays, screenwriting, and Hollywood. This is NOT "Everything you ever wanted to know about screenwriting", nor does it try to be. However, Skip does refer to some of the best books and web sites that will help expand your understanding of the topic. The tone of the book is light and breezy, and the information is broken up so you can read it in little chunks like a magazine. Don't take it too seriously. As is the case with practically all of the "Idiot" books, it's designed to be a fun overview.

About the Author
A loving mother, a successful entrepreneur, a survivor – Lenuta Hellen Nadolu, or just ‘Hellen’ as she is known to many – is the epitome of a self-made woman. Born and raised in 1950s communist Eastern Europe, she struggled to find her place in an unhappy family and in an oppressive patriarchal society where a woman’s life had little value. Growing up in Romania and Bucharest, Hellen knew great hardships but always remained hopeful of gaining an education and finding her place in the world. In an effort to escape to a better life, Hellen married a successful doctor, suffering further prejudice and scorn for marrying outside her race and culture. She moved with him to Ghana. But Hellen’s hopes for a happier life were crushed when she realised that her husband’s world was equally oppressive and dangerous. Now trapped in Africa with three small children, Hellen knew she would need to take drastic steps to protect herself and her family from emotional and psychological abuse from her husband and his domineering family. The first European woman to ever be granted a petition of divorce in Ghana, Hellen took her children and fled back to Romania. She then summoned all her faith and resilience and immigrated to Australia in 1984; finally achieving a happy life for her children and herself. Today Hellen lives in Sydney, Australia, where she runs a successful cosmetology business, surrounded by her beloved children Elsie, William and Nancy and grandchildren Amira and Leila. Hellen’s memoir, Give Me Courage, chronicles her life journey; her refusal to give up on herself and her dreams; her refusal to be a victim of cultural terror; her refusal to be treated as a lesser human being in a male-dominated society. She hopes to inspire women, and all those who are subjected to racial, cultural and religious discrimination, to persevere and to nurture their spirit so that they can live their lives with grace and gratitude. In addition to her writing, Hellen frequently speaks to groups about her experiences and the lessons she has learned. Most recently, she was a guest speaker at a United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees charitable event in support of women and girls in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

As an architect (who hasn't been to Venice enough), I have enjoyed dipping in to the first edition for years. As a photographer I recognise the quality of the images by A F Kersting in that edition. Without exception they are technically impeccable, well composed, and had a real sparkle and brilliance. Printed on better quality paper, in duotone, I would happily pay 2 or 3 times the cost of the book. By comparison the image of Sarah Quill were rather dull and lacking - surely she had a wide langle lens I thought - worse was the converging verticals, that really had no place in an architecture book. It is easy to avoid them when taking a photograph, why didn't she?
It is regrettable in this edition that Kersting's fine b+w images have been jettisoned for far more SQ images. That these images still perpetuate converging and diverging verticles is sloppy. That they haven't been corrected at pre-production is astonishing. Not `splendid' photographs, merely workaday

A Thorough and Facinating History of this Unique City

Deborah Howard's account of this unique city, it's origin and development over the years is is a fascinating document. Together with the excellent photogaphs in full colour by Sarah Quill and Deborah Howard this book is inavaluable to anyone who has visited Venice. This book may be classed as a history book to compliment a persons interests in what may be missing from regular guide books. It is not a boring book about constructural practices per say but more about the ingenious ways in which the early settlers escaped from tyranical oppression and created their primitive home in a lagoon that has become the most beautiful collection of architecture anywhere today. Having visited Venice several times I wanted to find out more about this great place. To say that necessity is the mother of invention is living proof which led to the construction of the city of Venice. If you love Venice you will love this book. David Dickinson Alberts, Canada

I am a huge Tartar Sauce/Grumpy Cat fan so naturally I had to have this book. It is basically a compilation of Grumpy Cat memes that you see all over the internet with a few basic activities such as cross word puzzles and connect the dots. The book also features a couple images of Pokey, Dog and Cactus. If I would have had the opportunity to flip through the book at a book store, I would not have purchased the book simply for the lack of diversity in the images. There are tons of images out there of Grumpy Cat, but this book features the same two on every other page, but with a different caption. I was hoping for a more diverse collection of images.

I didn't know what to expect when I ordered this, but I'm a fan of Grumpy Cat so I figured why not. Well, it had me roaring with laughter as I flipped through the pages. I shared it with others and got the same reaction. A cute book with great Grumpy Cat photos and sayings. If you are having a bad day, flip through this and you will no doubt cheer up. Highly recommeded, and I say that with a grumpy smile on my face!!!

Amusing and totally in character, Tarder Sauce is at her grumpy best. The illustrations are well put-together and contribute greatly to the whole. The activities are a hoot. I quite enjoyed it.

About the Author

FAUSTO PUGLIESE is founder and president of Cyber Trading University. Pugliese began his career on Wall Street as a stockbroker and was one of the first independent traders to take advantage of the Direct Access Trading technology boom that started in 1987. He has appeared on Fox News, CNBC, and other financial shows. He also writes for Equities magazine and hosts a radio show on Biz Radio.

A great book on teaching you how to use LEVEL2 view in conjuction with other tools for day trading

I am new to the trading world. I have read several books over the past year. I have touched on most investing and trading subjects. during my past studies, I learned a lot but I was not able to interconnect some of my studied concepts with each other. This book really did that job for me. Fausto has a very easy to understand way of writing. He really knows his work well, and does not leave any unanswered question in his book. He provided each section with good examples. I have read other books that had good explanation on the support and resistance concept but non of them used support and resistance in conjunction with LEVEL 2 VIEW. this is not a minor difference. this is a HUGE difference in concept. I am very happy with my purchase and thank Fausto for his great work on this book.

BOOK Should Be Called Support and Resistance

I like to start with that the title of the book is very misleading instead of How to Beat the Market Makers at Their Own Game should be how to read support and Resistance lines which you can find in books on Amazon for whole lot cheaper I will not say more but you have been warned.
